4 Judges Recommended for High Court Chief Judge Positions

The Judicial Council has recommended four judges from High Courts for appointment as Chief Judges.

In a meeting held this morning, the Council recommended Judges Rajan Prasad Bhattarai, Lal Bahadur Kunwar, Hari Prasad Bhandari, and Rajendra Tiwari for the position of Chief Judge.

Judge Bhattarai, who is currently working at the Janakpur High Court, temporary bench in Birgunj, has been recommended as the Chief Judge of the Biratnagar High Court. Similarly, Judge Kunwar, who is working at the Patan High Court, has been recommended as the Chief Judge of the same court.

Likewise, Judge Bhandari, who is currently working at the temporary Okhaldhunga bench of Biratnagar High Court and on deputation at the Tulsipur bench, has been recommended as the Chief Judge of the Surkhet High Court. 

Judge Tiwari, who is working at the Butwal bench of Tulsipur High Court, has been recommended as the Chief Judge of the same court.
