UML to Hold Nationwide Virtual Meeting

The CPN-UML is holding a joint meeting on Tuesday with all seven provincial committees and district committees from all 77 districts. The purpose of the meeting is to share the message and decisions of the party’s 11th national convention across the country.

Party General Secretary Shankar Pokharel will address the meeting online at 2 pm. He will speak from the UML central office in Chyasal.

According to Central Office Secretary Dr Bhishma Adhikari, Zoom links have already been sent to members of provincial committees and district-level leaders so that everyone can take part.

Adhikari said the meeting aims to explain the key decisions of the national convention to party workers at the grassroots level. Pokharel will also talk about the newly elected leadership, their duties, and the current political situation.

During the meeting, the party is expected to give instructions to local leaders to run their activities according to the party’s coordination system and follow the political direction set by the national convention.

Koshi Province Committee Chair Ghanashyam Khatri said all district committees in the province have been informed and asked to make sure that everyone attends the meeting.
