Gold Hits Record High in Domestic Market, Silver Sees Slight Rise

Gold prices in the domestic market surged to a record high on Tuesday, climbing sharply by Rs 5,500 per tola to reach Rs 267,200, according to the Federation of Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association. The precious metal was traded at Rs 261,700 per tola on Monday.

Silver prices also inched up, rising by Rs 20 per tola to Rs 4,255 from Monday’s rate of Rs 4,235.
