Rajendra Gautam, head of the CPN-UML's Publicity Department, has said that the party does not support the return of former President Bidya Devi Bhandari to active politics.
Speaking at an event in Bhaktapur, Gautam called her involvement in politics a "minor issue" for the UML and said it’s not something the party is focused on.
He also shared that the recent UML Central Committee meeting made some key decisions, such as setting a 70-year age limit for leadership roles, allowing only two terms in executive positions, and barring former presidents from returning to active politics.
