An Indian citizen was arrested in Siraha today with Rs 1 million in cash, which he could not verify the source of. The Armed Police Force (APF) caught him at Hospital Chowk in Lahan-3.
The man has been identified as 24-year-old Rahul Kumar from Madhubani district, India. He was traveling by bus from Inarwa to Lahan when the APF team from the Lahan base camp stopped and searched him.
Authorities are preparing to hand him and the seized money over to the customs office for further investigation.
