Nepal Communist Party (UML) leader Ishwar Pokharel has alleged that both domestic and foreign forces are attempting to weaken his party. Speaking with UML candidates in Kathmandu, he emphasized that the party is focusing on strengthening internal unity to counter these conspiracies.

Pokharel stated that UML’s upcoming election manifesto is nearly finalized, outlining clear agendas and timelines for the party’s work. He added, “To face external conspiracies, we must be strong internally. UML will not let hidden or visible forces dominate. Internal unity is our top priority.”

He clarified that the party’s objection is only to activities that go against national interest under the name of the gen-z movement.
