Gold and silver prices increased again in the domestic market on Wednesday compared to Tuesday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmark gold has been fixed at Rs 304,700 per tola today. Similarly, silver is being traded at Rs 5,600 per tola.
The price of gold has increased by Rs 14,400 per tola compared to Tuesday. On Tuesday, hallmark gold was traded at Rs 290,300 per tola, while silver was priced at Rs 5,335 per tola.
In the international market, media reports say gold is trading at USD 5,058 per ounce, while silver is being traded at USD 88 per ounce today.
The rise in international market prices has also affected the domestic market, leading to an increase in gold and silver rates in Nepal.
