Ujyaalo Party Nepal has officially announced its support for outgoing Education Minister Mahavir Pun, who is contesting as an independent candidate in the upcoming House of Representatives election.
The party’s spokesperson, Dr. Raju Thapa, confirmed the endorsement, highlighting Pun’s contributions and leadership as the Chairperson of the National Innovation Center. Pun, a native of Annapurna Rural Municipality-8, Nangi, resigned from his position as Minister of Education, Science, and Technology in the interim government to participate in the elections.
Pun’s unique campaign style and innovative approach to voter engagement have attracted attention on social media, further boosting his visibility in the constituency. Previously, several other parties, including Rastriya Swatantra Party, had extended their support to Pun, effectively sidelining other candidates in the race.
