Two Teenage Sisters Found Dead in Bode, Bhaktapur

Two teenage sisters were found dead in Bode, Madhyapur Thimi Municipality–8, Bhaktapur, in a tragic incident that has shocked the local community.

Menuka Kandel, 17, and her 15-year-old sister Srijana Kandel were discovered dead on Thursday morning in a two-story house owned by Chakradhar Prajapati in the Sintitar area of Bode.

According to DSP Dhundiraj Neupane from the District Police Office, Bhaktapur, the initial findings suggest that the girls died by suicide. However, police have launched an investigation to find out what led to the incident.

This heartbreaking case has raised concerns about the mental well-being of young people and the need for greater awareness and support.
