Traffic Movement Obstructed As Vinayi River Sweeps Away Part of the Road in Dumkibas

Flooding at the Vinayi river in Dumkibas on Friday morning (May 2) has swept away part of the diversion along the Butwal-Narayangadh road section, causing inconveniences in traffic movement, district police office (Nawalparasi East) informed.  

Police are rerouting passenger vehicles and light vehicles to their destinations through the Hongshi Gate route whereas heavy vehicles and have stopped at the Arunkhola region. 

Maintenance work is underway, police said.
