President Ramchandra Paudel said the government is committed to boosting economic growth, controlling corruption and ending impunity.
Presenting the government’s policies and programs for the upcoming fiscal year at a joint session of the Federal Parliament today, President Paudel said the government will focus on good governance and fast economic development. He added that the government is working based on the common commitments and priorities agreed upon during the formation of the coalition government.
He added that the government is determined to protect the achievements made through the people’s sacrifices and struggles, and will stand firmly against those who try to spread rumors and create disorder by questioning the constitution and the democratic system.
According to President Paudel, the government aims to fulfill the national goal of “Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali” through political stability, good governance, development and social justice, based on democratic values and public needs.
