Three Cops Removed from Airport Duty for Misbehaving with Youth

Three police officers working at Tribhuvan International Airport have been removed from their duty after being accused of misbehaving with a young man who had just returned from Dubai.

A video went viral on social media showing Sanjay Ojha from Morang being handled roughly by airport security. In the video, he is wearing a red T-shirt and is seen being taken away by the police.

After the video came out, the police started an investigation. According to SSP Shekhar Khanal, the three officers have been taken off airport duty and are being questioned.

SP Lal Dhwaj Subedi from the airport security team said Ojha had a dispute with a taxi driver and some airport staff, so the police took him under control for a while. He claimed that, based on initial information, there was no mistreatment.

The video has caused a strong reaction from the public, and the police have said they will take appropriate action after the investigation is complete.
