Three parliamentary committees are meeting today at Singha Durbar to discuss key legislative and governance matters.

Today (April 18), three committees under the Federal Parliament of Nepal are scheduled to hold meetings. The meetings will take place within the Singha Durbar premises, according to the Federal Parliament Secretariat.
As per the schedule, the meeting of the Law, Justice, and Human Rights Committee will be held at 11 AM. This meeting will discuss the draft annual report of the committee for the fiscal year 2081-82.
The State Affairs and Good Governance Committee will also meet at 11 AM. The committee will discuss the report submitted by a sub-committee regarding the Federal Civil Service Bill, 2080, which outlines the structure, operation and service conditions of the federal civil service.
Additionally, the Legislation Management Committee will hold its meeting at 1 PM. The meeting will focus on the remaining laws that need to be formulated in accordance with the Constitution, the secretariat stated.
