The Muglin–Nagdhunga road section will be closed at night for three days starting today.
According to Madan Lama Thing, Information Officer at the District Administration Office, Chitwan, the road will be closed at night due to ongoing road upgrading works at places including Ghoptebhir in Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality–4, Chitwan.
Speaking to Nepal News Bank, he said that vehicle movement will be halted from 10 PM to 4 AM for three days starting today to expedite the road improvement work.
He said, “Road upgrading work is currently underway at locations including Ghoptebhir in Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality–4, Chitwan. Therefore, we have decided to close the road section from 10 PM to 4 AM for three days starting today to speed up the work.”
He also mentioned that the decision to halt nighttime traffic was made considering the inconvenience faced by passengers due to repeated traffic stoppages during the day.
