Curfew Lifted in Birgunj

The Parsa District Administration Office has decided to lift the curfew in the Birgunj Metropolitan area starting from 7 AM today. 

This decision was made following a meeting of the District Security Committee, chaired by Chief District Officer Ganesh Aryal, held yesterday. The committee noted that the security situation in Birgunj has improved and returned to normal. 

The curfew, which had been in place since 1st Baisakh (mid-April), was initially imposed due to security concerns. With the peaceful situation now restored, the administration has lifted the restrictions. This means that the public can now move around as usual.
