The Ujyaalo Nepal Party has congratulated Prime Minister Sushila Karki, stating that the country was able to safely navigate a challenging situation under her leadership.
A delegation led by party president Kulman Ghising met the Prime Minister at Baluwatar on Saturday, praising her commitment for ensuring peaceful, free, and fair elections despite widespread doubts.
Ghising said the successful completion of the elections had provided political stability, adding that “even if I lost, the country has won.” He also expressed his commitment to continue serving the nation outside Parliament.
In response, Prime Minister Karki appreciated the party’s participation in the electoral process and encouraged its members to remain active, saying one election result should not discourage them.
The party also urged the government to ensure the safety of Nepalis in the Gulf region and to make public the report of the Gauribahadur Karki-led commission.
