Prime Minister Sushila Karki has extended best wishes to all Muslim brothers and sisters in Nepal and abroad on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Through a Facebook post on Saturday, she expressed her belief that the festival would further strengthen the spirit of harmony and unity.
She wrote, “The month-long and challenging fast of Ramadan teaches us tolerance, patience, sacrifice, and dedication to humanity. Because of this sacred significance, the period of fasting is also regarded as a time of good deeds and self-discipline. These values inspire our society toward human dignity, coexistence, and prosperity. I believe Eid-ul-Fitr will further strengthen the spirit of harmony, brotherhood, and unity.”
She also expressed hope that the festival would enhance mutual respect, goodwill, and cooperation among Nepalis, contributing to the nation’s prosperity and stability.
