The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) fell down by 6.32 points today, closing at 2,669.82, The market opened at 2,676.1 and showed fluctuations, reaching an intraday high of 2,694.85 and a low of 2,709.58.
Today's turnover stood at Rs. 4.41 Arba, with 52,705 transactions involving 8,768,566 shares from 303 companies. Today, Nepal Infrastructure and Development Ltd. . (NRN) is leading turnover with trade worth Rs. 18.96 crores, closing at Rs. 1065.
Out of the 303 companies, 243 had transactions, with 85 companies closing in the positive, 148 declining, and 10 remaining unchanged. Despite these gains, investor sentiment remains weak, and many investors are still not ready to strongly engage in buying activities. Overall, the market turnover is declining, reflecting a cautious investor mindset.
