RSP District Conventions Begin Today Across the Country

The district-level conventions of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) are set to begin from today, with conventions taking place in 36 districts on Saturday.

According to the party’s General Secretary Kabindra Burlakoti, the conventions will be held in eight districts of Koshi Province, two districts of Madhesh Province, nine districts of Bagmati Province, five districts of Gandaki Province, eight districts of Lumbini Province, two districts of Karnali Province, and three districts of Sudurpashchim Province.

Similarly, conventions are scheduled to take place in 29 additional districts on Sunday. These include four districts each in Koshi and Madhesh provinces, two districts in Bagmati, four in Gandaki, three in Lumbini, six in Karnali, and six in Sudurpashchim Province.

The party has also announced that the convention in Bara district will be held on June 9 (Jestha 26) due to special organizational circumstances.

RSP aims to complete district conventions in 67 out of Nepal’s 77 districts before holding its first national general convention. The remaining 10 district conventions will be conducted after the national convention, according to the party.
