NRB Sets Today's Foreign Exchange Rates; US Dollar at Rs 152.96

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced the foreign exchange rates for today, Friday. According to the central bank, one US dollar can be bought for Rs 152.96 and sold for Rs 153.56.

The euro is being exchanged at Rs 178.05 for buying and Rs 178.74 for selling, while the British pound is valued at Rs 205.85 for buying and Rs 206.65 for selling. Similarly, the Swiss franc is traded at Rs 194.20 for buying and Rs 194.96 for selling.

Among other major currencies, the Australian dollar is priced at Rs 109.26 for buying and Rs 109.69 for selling, while the Canadian dollar stands at Rs 110.10 and Rs 110.53 respectively. The Singapore dollar is being exchanged at Rs 119.24 for buying and Rs 119.71 for selling.

The buying and selling rates for 10 Japanese yen are Rs 9.57 and Rs 9.61 respectively. The Chinese yuan is valued at Rs 22.58 for buying and Rs 22.67 for selling. Likewise, the Saudi riyal is traded at Rs 40.74 for buying and Rs 40.90 for selling, while the Qatari riyal stands at Rs 41.95 and Rs 42.12.

The Thai baht is being exchanged at Rs 4.69 for buying and Rs 4.71 for selling. The UAE dirham is valued at Rs 41.65 for buying and Rs 41.81 for selling, while the Malaysian ringgit is traded at Rs 38.12 and Rs 38.27 respectively.

Similarly, 100 South Korean won can be bought for Rs 9.98 and sold for Rs 10.02. The Swedish krona is valued at Rs 16.38 for buying and Rs 16.45 for selling, while the Danish krone stands at Rs 23.82 and Rs 23.92 respectively.

The Hong Kong dollar is being exchanged at Rs 19.52 for buying and Rs 19.62 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar remains the most expensive among the listed currencies, with a buying rate of Rs 498.32 and a selling rate of Rs 500.28. The Bahraini dinar is valued at Rs 405.65 for buying and Rs 407.24 for selling, while the Omani rial stands at Rs 397.29 and Rs 398.85 respectively.

Meanwhile, 100 Indian rupees can be bought for Rs 160 and sold for Rs 160.15, according to the rates fixed by Nepal Rastra Bank.
