Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chair Rabi Lamichhane is set to take part in a party event in Chitwan today. He will attend a program at Chaubiskoti, Bharatpur Metropolitan City, starting at 11 am, where he is expected to address party leaders and cadres briefly.
According to party spokesperson Manish Jha, Lamichhane will return to Kathmandu later in the day and begin meetings with the families of those killed and injured during the Gen-Z movement. The RSP has also announced a welcome program for Lamichhane at the party’s central office in Banasthali, Kathmandu, scheduled for 3 pm tomorrow.
Lamichhane was released on bail on Friday after the Butwal bench of the High Court ordered his release in connection with a cooperative fraud case, following the submission of the required bail amount.
