Bhandari Hails UML’s New Leadership, Emphasizes Democratic Strength

Former President and ex-Vice Chair of CPN-UML, Bidya Devi Bhandari, has lauded the party’s newly elected leaders, expressing optimism that they will bolster internal democracy, unity, and collective leadership in line with People’s Multiparty Democracy principles.

In a Facebook message, Bhandari noted that the smooth completion of the 11th General Convention and the democratic election of leaders reflect the party’s organizational maturity and commitment to democratic practices. She emphasized that healthy competition strengthens institutions and energizes party structures.

Bhandari congratulated KP Sharma Oli on his re-election as party chair for a third term and extended best wishes to all newly elected office bearers, central committee members, and commission members. She also thanked delegates, observers, volunteers, health workers, and artists for their role in making the convention a success.
