Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) dipped 7.66 points (0.29%) last week, closing at 2,615.25 after recovering from below 2,600 points. The index saw a high of 2,632.81 and a low of 2,587.23, with three gain days and two loss days.

 

Development banks led the gainers with a 2.15% rise, while the ‘others’ group fell 0.63%. Ngadi Group Power had the highest turnover at Rs 753.3 million, Swastik Laghubitta surged 61.04%, and Barahi Hydropower lost 14.29%.

 

Total turnover dropped 7.72% to Rs 19.37 billion, though market capitalization slightly rose to Rs 4.390 trillion, giving investors a net gain of Rs 13 billion after last week’s losses.
