Printing of PR Ballots for March 5 Election Completed

The printing of proportional representation (PR) ballot papers for the upcoming House of Representatives election on March 5 has been completed.

The Election Commission said that 28.5 million PR ballots were printed on Monday at Janak Shiksha Samagri Kendra Limited in Sanothimi.

The center’s Managing Director, Yadunath Poudel, said that after finishing PR ballots, printing of ballots for the direct election system has now started.

Earlier, the center had printed 1,098,200 sample ballots and submitted them to the Election Commission. These sample ballots are being used for voter education and awareness programs.
