Nepali Congress General Secretary Pradip Paudel has claimed that the party has undergone the kind of transformation the general public has been demanding.
Speaking at an election rally held in Kathmandu Constituency No. 5 on Saturday, Paudel said that both the policy direction and leadership of the Nepali Congress have changed with the aim of transforming the country. Paudel, who is also the party’s candidate from Kathmandu-5, urged voters to support the Nepali Congress to enable national transformation.
He called on party leaders and workers to focus on mobilizing voters in favor of the Congress, stressing that public support through votes is essential to give the party the strength needed to bring about change.
“The Congress has become what you wanted it to be. The transformation you expected within the party has already happened,” Paudel said. “Now, a transformed Congress wants to transform the country. For that, give us your vote and your strength. This is the message we must take to the voters.”
He added that politics driven only by emotion, without maturity, cannot steer the country in the right direction or produce sound decisions. Paudel noted that although the current leadership belongs to a relatively younger generation, they have long been involved in Nepal’s democratic movement and are experienced in leading change.
Paudel further asserted that with a mature yet youthful leadership now at the helm, meaningful transformation in the country is possible.
