Bangladesh Face India in SAFF U-19 Women’s Final Today

Bangladesh and India will play against each other in the final of the SAFF U-19 Women’s Championship today (Saturday) in Pokhara.

The final match will be held at the Pokhara International Football Stadium at 2:00 pm on February 7.

Defending champion Bangladesh reached the final by winning all three matches in the league stage. They beat Bhutan 12–0, India 2–0, and host Nepal 4–0.

India reached the final as the runners-up in the league stage with two wins and six points. India defeated Nepal 1–0, lost 2–0 to Bangladesh, and qualified for the final after beating Bhutan 8–0.

The tournament started on January 31 and is being played in a round-robin format.

This is the first time Pokhara has hosted the SAFF Women’s Championship. The tournament is organized by the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) in coordination with the South Asian Football Federation.
