The 10th edition of the ICC T20 World Cup is set to begin today across India and Sri Lanka.

The tournament will open with an inaugural match at the Sinhalese Sports Club Cricket Ground in Colombo, Sri Lanka, where Pakistan will face the Netherlands. The match is scheduled to begin at 11:15 am Nepal time.

 

Later today, West Indies will take on Scotland at Eden Gardens in Kolkata at 3:15 pm, followed by a match between host nation India and the United States at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium at 7:15 pm Nepal time.

 

Nepal will begin its World Cup campaign tomorrow (Sunday). The national team will face two-time champions England in their opening match at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, starting at 3:15 pm Nepal time.

 

Nepal’s second match will be against Italy on Magh 29. Italy are making their first-ever appearance in the T20 World Cup. Nepal will then face former champions West Indies on Falgun 2, followed by a match against Scotland on Falgun 4.

 

The tournament will run until March 8. A total of 20 teams are participating in the tournament, divided into four groups. Group A includes India, Pakistan, the United States, Namibia, and the Netherlands. Group B features Australia, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, Ireland, and Oman. Group C consists of Nepal, England, West Indies, Scotland, and Italy. Group D includes South Africa, New Zealand, Afghanistan, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Canada.
