Pokhara to Face Daily 5-Hour Power Cuts Until 21st

Electricity supply in most parts of Pokhara will be interrupted for five hours daily starting today until the 21st. The disruption is due to maintenance and upgrade work being carried out at the Kundahar Substation by the Nepal Electricity Authority.

According to the Pokhara Distribution Centre, power will be cut from 6:00 am to 11:00 am each day during this four-day period. All feeders connected to the Kundahar Grid will be shut down, affecting areas from Vijaypur to Harichok and nearby localities.

Officials said electricity may be restored earlier if the work finishes ahead of time. Normal power supply will fully resume after the maintenance is completed.
