Prime Minister Sushila Karki has asked voters to choose new, young, and honest leaders for Parliament, saying the country cannot continue with old political ways.
During a meeting with representatives of Nepal Tamang Ghedung on Friday, she said real change in government is possible only if trustworthy and fresh leaders are elected.
“The country cannot be run with outdated thinking or old habits,” she said. “We need new faces, young people, and honest leaders. Government should reflect the hopes and dreams of the younger generation.”
Prime Minister Karki emphasized that the upcoming elections are a chance to change the political system by valuing honesty, energy, and responsibility instead of old power rules.
She added that young people’s growing expectations need a new way of leading the country, and voters have an important role in deciding the nation’s future through their votes.
