Deuba-Led Nepali Congress Warns of Nationwide Protests if Election Commission Denies Recognition

The Nepali Congress (led by Sher Bahadur Deuba) has warned of a nationwide protest if the Election Commission does not grant recognition. Speaking at a press conference at the party’s central office, acting president Purna Bahadur Khadka stated that in such a situation, the party would launch protests across the country. 

He warned that the Nepali Congress would take to the streets from every village and ward, carrying the four-star flag.
