The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the prices of petrol and diesel while reducing the price of aviation fuel. This decision was made during today's meeting of the corporation's board of directors, and the new prices will take effect at midnight.

The price of petrol has been raised by Rs 1 per liter, and the price of diesel by Rs 2 per liter compared to the previous rates. At the same time, the NOC has reduced the price of domestic aviation fuel by Rs 2 per liter and international aviation fuel for Kathmandu by USD 15 per kiloliter. The prices of international aviation fuel for Pokhara and Bhairahawa remain unchanged.

With the price adjustment, petrol will now be priced at Rs 160.50, Rs 162, and Rs 163 per liter for the first, second, and third categories, respectively. Similarly, diesel will be priced at Rs 150.50, Rs 152, and Rs 153 per liter for the first, second, and third categories, respectively.

The price adjustments are based on the new purchase prices received from the Indian Oil Corporation today, which show an increase of Rs 1.09 per liter for petrol, Rs 2.22 per liter for diesel, and a decrease of Rs 1.71 per liter for aviation fuel.
