NRB Sets New Foreign Exchange Rates for Wednesday

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced the foreign exchange rates for Wednesday. The buying rate for one US dollar is 138.83 NPR and the selling rate is 139.43 NPR. For the Euro, the buying rate is 145.27 NPR and the selling rate is 145.90 NPR. The UK pound sterling is being bought at 174.95 NPR and sold at 175.71 NPR, while the Swiss franc is available for purchase at 153.98 NPR and sale at 154.65 NPR. The Australian dollar’s buying rate is 88.26 NPR, and the selling rate is 88.64 NPR. For the Canadian dollar, the buying rate is 97.89 NPR and the selling rate is 98.31 NPR. The buying rate for the Singapore dollar is 103.47 NPR, and the selling rate is 103.91 NPR. The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is 9.15 NPR, and the selling rate is 9.19 NPR. The Chinese yuan is bought at 19.07 NPR and sold at 19.16 NPR. The Saudi Arabian riyal’s buying rate is 37.02 NPR and the selling rate is 37.18 NPR, while the Qatari riyal is bought at 38.09 NPR and sold at 38.25 NPR. The rates for other currencies like the Thai baht, UAE dirham, Malaysian ringgit, South Korean won, Hong Kong dollar, Kuwaiti dinar, Bahraini dinar, and Omani rial are also set, with buying and selling rates provided. The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees is 160 NPR, and the selling rate is 160.15 NPR. NRB mentioned that these rates may change, and rates set by commercial banks may vary. Updated rates will be available on the central bank’s website.
