NRB Reports Drop in Foreign Currency Exchange Rates

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has updated the foreign exchange rates for today (April 29), showing that the value of major foreign currencies has gone down. This includes the US dollar, euro, British pound, Australian dollar and currencies from the Gulf countries.

The exchange rate for 1 US dollar is NPR 135.76 for buying and NPR 136.36 for selling. Yesterday, it was higher at NPR 136.43 (buying) and NPR 137.03 (selling).

The euro is being exchanged at NPR 154.01 for buying and NPR 155.69 for selling today. This is lower than yesterday’s rates of NPR 155.05 (buying) and NPR 155.73 (selling).

The British pound is available at NPR 181.05 for buying and NPR 181.85 for selling, down from yesterday’s rates of NPR 181.66 (buying) and NPR 182.46 (selling).

The Australian dollar is now NPR 86.83 for buying and NPR 87.21 for selling. Yesterday, it was NPR 87.26 (buying) and NPR 87.64 (selling).

The Kuwaiti dinar has dropped to NPR 442.52 for buying and NPR 444.47 for selling, compared to yesterday’s NPR 444.90 (buying) and NPR 446.86 (selling).

The Bahraini dinar is now NPR 360.14 for buying and NPR 361.74 for selling, which is slightly lower than yesterday’s NPR 361.88 (buying) and NPR 363.47 (selling).
