NHRC Stresses Democratic Solutions Amid Ongoing Crisis

Amid the current political crisis, the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has urged all parties to resolve the situation in accordance with human rights, democratic values, and the rule of law.

NHRC spokesperson Dr. Tikaram Pokharel said it is important to find a solution grounded in fundamental democratic principles.

The Commission is in communication with President Ramchandra Paudel, advising him to take measures that protect human rights, uphold democracy, and ensure peace and justice. NHRC also confirmed ongoing discussions with other key stakeholders regarding the situation.
