Four Bodies Found at Bhatbhateni Supermarket in Dharan

Authorities have discovered four bodies at the Bhatbhateni Supermarket, which was set on fire and looted during the Gen Z protests on September 9.

On Friday morning, police found one body inside the building. Later in the afternoon, three more bodies were discovered, all badly burned.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Prakash Jalekhu of the Dharan Area Police Office confirmed the total count of four bodies. “Skeletal remains and ashes were found. Legal procedures have been completed, and DNA testing will be needed for identification,” he said.
