On the last trading day of Magh, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) saw a small rise of 1.86 points (0.06%), ending the day at 2685.73 points.
Even though the increase was small, there was still a lot of trading. A total of 15.52 million shares were traded, worth Rs 8.71 billion.
Out of the 307 companies traded, 134 saw their prices go up, 99 went down, and 11 stayed the same.
The market included 82,850 transactions and covered 13 market groups. Four groups saw an increase in value, while nine groups dropped.
The highest trading group dropped by 0.91%, while the non-life insurance group had the smallest decline at 0.03%.
On a positive note, the finance group saw the biggest increase at 1.56%, followed by non-life insurance, which gained 0.48%.
