Delegate registration is ongoing alongside speeches at the Nepali Congress’ second special general convention currently being held at Bhrikutimandap.
The convention organizers claim that 54 percent of general convention delegates have signed in support of the special general convention, exceeding the 40 percent threshold required by the party statute.
So far, 255 delegates from Gandaki Province and 250 from Lumbini Province have registered. In comparison, participation from Sudurpaschim Province remains low, with only 102 delegates registered, while 111 delegates from Karnali Province have completed registration.
