Gold Price Jumps Rs 2,800 to Set New Record,Silver Also Surges

Gold and silver prices have reached new record highs in the domestic market today.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold rose by Rs 2,800 per tola and reached Rs 270,600 per tola. This is the highest gold price ever recorded in Nepal.

Gold prices had already increased by Rs 2,100 per tola last Friday after falling for two days earlier in the week. On Friday, gold was priced at Rs 267,800 per tola before rising again today to set a new record.

Silver prices also increased today. The price of silver went up by Rs 210 per tola to reach Rs 4,990 per tola. This is also the highest silver price ever seen in the domestic market.
