Prime Minister Balendra Shah held a discussion with proportional representation members of the House of Representatives from all political parties. During the interaction program held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar on Wednesday, lawmakers shared issues from their respective regions and communities along with possible solutions.

Following the meeting, Rastriya Prajatantra Party proportional MP Khusbu Oli highlighted sudden river erosion during the monsoon as a major concern. She stated that due to limited resources, there is insufficient budget for embankment construction, making it difficult to manage flood-related risks, and that she raised this issue with the Prime Minister.

Similarly, CPN-UML MP Padma Aryal said that lawmakers discussed various development-related issues along with concerns from their communities. She added that discussions focused on how to effectively move development forward and what kind of policies and programs should be introduced.

During the interaction, MPs presented challenges, issues, and possible solutions from their respective clusters directly to the Prime Minister. Earlier, Prime Minister Shah had also held province-wise meetings with directly elected members of the House of Representatives.
