Dollar at Rs 148.99 as Nepal Rastra Bank sets rates

Nepal Rastra Bank has set today’s foreign exchange rates.

According to the bank, 1 US dollar can be bought for Rs 148.39 and sold for Rs 148.99. One euro costs Rs 175.06 for buying and Rs 175.76 for selling, while the UK pound sterling is at Rs 200.75 (buying) and Rs 201.56 (selling). The Swiss franc is priced at Rs 189.65 for buying and Rs 190.41 for selling.

Among other major currencies, the Australian dollar is set at Rs 106.40 (buying) and Rs 106.83 (selling), the Canadian dollar at Rs 108.49 and Rs 108.93, and the Singapore dollar at Rs 116.62 and Rs 117.09.

Looking at Asian currencies, 10 Japanese yen equals Rs 9.32 for buying and Rs 9.36 for selling, while one Chinese yuan is Rs 21.75 (buying) and Rs 21.84 (selling). The Saudi Arabian riyal stands at Rs 39.56 and Rs 39.72, and the Qatari riyal at Rs 40.70 and Rs 40.86.

Similarly, the Thai baht is priced at Rs 4.63 (buying) and Rs 4.65 (selling), the UAE dirham at Rs 40.40 and Rs 40.56, and the Malaysian ringgit at Rs 37.54 and Rs 37.70. The South Korean won (per 100 units) is Rs 10.03 for buying and Rs 10.07 for selling. The Swedish krona is Rs 16.18 and Rs 16.25, while the Danish krone is Rs 23.42 and Rs 23.52.

Among other currencies, the Hong Kong dollar is set at Rs 18.95 (buying) and Rs 19.03 (selling), the Kuwaiti dinar at Rs 484.62 and Rs 486.58, the Bahraini dinar at Rs 393.53 and Rs 395.12, and the Omani rial at Rs 385.42 and Rs 386.98. Meanwhile, 100 Indian rupees can be bought for Rs 160 and sold for Rs 160.15.
