Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle has stated that upcoming budget policies will focus on improving the social and economic living standards of citizens.
During a discussion with a delegation from the Economic Media Association Nepal (EMAN), he said current economic challenges will be addressed through promoting entrepreneurship, increasing domestic production, and building a self-reliant economy.
Minister Wagle emphasized prioritizing capital development, job creation, and controlling rising inflation. He noted that collaboration with the media sector is essential to strengthen entrepreneurship and boost domestic production.
He also stressed that all stakeholders must take responsibility to end corruption and ensure good governance, adding that job creation remains a top government priority.
During the meeting, the EMAN delegation urged the government to introduce balanced and inclusive policies for the overall development of the media sector.
