Bishwa Prakash Sharma: Nepali Congress Must Move Forward with a New Approach

Nepali Congress General Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma has said that the party cannot move forward by using old methods anymore.

Speaking at the party’s special general convention, Sharma said that party leaders, including himself, must accept responsibility for the weaknesses in party management and work with a new approach.

He said that as general secretaries, they also share the blame for the party’s shortcomings. Because of this, they believe that a new journey cannot begin with old thinking. Sharma added that the political situation in the country has changed, and it is not possible to face new challenges with an outdated mindset.

Sharma compared politics to nature, saying that just like seasons change, politics also changes. He said leaders must understand these changes. After recognizing the new political reality, he said the party is determined to move forward by adjusting to the new situation instead of holding on to old ways.
