Several major highways across Nepal have been partially or completely blocked due to landslides and flood damage, according to a situation update issued by Nepal Police at 10:00 AM today.

In Koshi Province, a landslide at Sangurigadhi Rural Municipality-5 in Dhankuta District has affected the Rabi Rake–Bhedetar road section, allowing only one-way traffic.

In Bagmati Province, three sections of the Arniko Highway remain fully blocked due to landslides. The affected areas include Kodari (Bhotekoshi-2), Larcha (Bhotekoshi-3), and Koplang (Bhotekoshi-2).

In Lumbini Province, the Kaligandaki Corridor in Gulmi District is also affected. A landslide at Barlaba (Kaligandaki Rural Municipality-6) has restricted the road to one-way movement.

In Karnali Province, the Jumla–Mugu road section at Chulelgaun (Sinja Rural Municipality-2) is open for one-way traffic due to a landslide. Meanwhile, the Bheri Corridor in Dolpa District has been completely blocked at Chalghat (Tripurasundari Municipality-9) because of flood damage.

In Sudurpaschim Province, the Gokuleshwar–Khalanga road section in Darchula District is fully closed after a landslide at Mahakali Rural Municipality-1.

Police have confirmed that efforts are currently underway to clear the debris and restore full traffic movement on all blocked sections. Local authorities, police teams, and road maintenance crews are working together to reopen the affected routes.

Public has been advised to stay alert and check road conditions before traveling, especially in hilly and flood-prone areas.
