Deputy Speaker Indira Rana Magar Departs for Democracy Dialogue in South Africa

Deputy Speaker Indira Rana Magar left for South Africa today to take part in a major discussion on democracy. The event will be held in Pretoria on June 19 and 20.

She will join a high-level dialogue called "Re-Imagining Democracy in Africa: Comparative Experiences from the Global South." The event is being organized by the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance, the Open Society Foundation, and South Africa’s Department of International Relations and Cooperation.The Deputy Speaker is expected to return to Nepal on June 22.
