The Nepali government has started collecting the names of Nepali citizens who want to return home from Israel. This decision comes as the conflict between Iran and Israel is getting more intense.
The Embassy of Nepal in Tel Aviv, Israel, has shared an online form for Nepalis to fill out their personal details. The form is available through a link shared by the embassy, making it easier for people to register their names.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, there are about 550 Nepalis currently in Israel and around 12 in Iran. So far, no reports of any harm to Nepali citizens have been received.
Nepali Ambassador to Israel, Dhan Prasad Poudel, said that the embassy is ready to help Nepalis who are facing problems due to the war. If necessary, arrangements will be made to rescue them and bring them safely back to Nepal.
