Patan High Court Orders Not to Implement Suspension of KMC Police Chief

The Patan High Court has issued an interim order not to implement the decision to suspend Rajunath Pandey, the chief of Kathmandu Metropolitan City’s municipal police.

A joint bench of Justices Rishi Raj Bhandari and Dilli Ratna Shrestha issued the order on Wednesday. The court instructed authorities to halt the suspension process until further notice.

Pandey had been facing suspension, but the court's latest order means he will remain in his position for now.
