President Approves Sahid Dasharath Chand Health University Bill

The bill related to the establishment of Sahid Dasharath Chand Health Science University has been officially certified.

President Ram Chandra Paudel authenticated the bill on Wednesday, as confirmed by the spokesperson of the President’s Office, Shailaja Regmi Bhattarai.

This bill was passed by both Houses of the Federal Parliament and was sent to the President for final approval. The main aim of this bill is to promote research and studies in the field of health science, as well as to produce skilled health workers within Nepal and improve access to health services across the country.

According to the bill, the Government of Nepal will be able to establish and operate medical universities to provide education in medical science.

The government is preparing to establish Sahid Dasharath Chand Health Science University using the infrastructure of Geta Medical College, located in Geta, Kailali.
