Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chair Rabi Lamichhane has claimed that the entire state machinery conspired to falsely implicate him in the cooperative fraud case.
Speaking at the party’s central office in Banasthali on Monday after his release on bail, Lamichhane said this was not a time for celebration, citing the deaths of youths during the Gen-Z uprising. He alleged that state institutions and criminal groups acted together against him but said public support proved he was not alone.
Calling the country at a turning point, Lamichhane said the Gen-Z revolt must now turn into real change. He rejected the restoration of Parliament, saying an institution that silences voices and blocks corruption probes has no legitimacy. He added that his fight is for the nation and the new generation, and hinted at possible political realignments ahead of elections.
