Baburam Bhattarai Leaves for India Today

Former Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai is leaving for India today. This is his first official visit to India after forming the Pragatisheel Loktantrik Party following the Gen-Z protests.

During his visit, he will meet people from India’s intellectual, diplomatic, and education fields. According to a press note issued by his personal secretary, Rekhi Gurung, Dr. Bhattarai will speak at the Tech Fest at IIT Bombay and also take part in a program at the India International Center in New Delhi.

He is expected to return to Nepal on December 24. The press note said the purpose of the visit is to strengthen understanding, friendship, and democratic dialogue between Nepal and India.
