Rastriya Prajatantra Party leader Kunti Pokharel has registered her nomination for the House of Representatives election from Kathmandu Constituency No. 2. She had also contested from the same seat in the previous election and is once again in the race as nationwide nominations continue for the Falgun 21 polls.

Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) leader Kunti Pokharel has filed her candidacy nomination for the House of Representatives election from Kathmandu Constituency No. 2.
Pokharel registered her nomination on Tuesday after reaching the election office. She had also contested from the same constituency in the 2079 BS election. In the previous election, she was defeated by Rastriya Swatantra Party leader Sobita Gautam.
This time, as Gautam has moved to Chitwan Constituency No. 2, Pokharel has once again become a candidate from the same Kathmandu constituency. Nomination registration for the upcoming House of Representatives election, scheduled for Falgun 21, is taking place across the country on Tuesday, according to News Agency Nepal.
